Alexander’s Quest was established on May 30, 2001 as a charitable non-profit organization in loving memory of 3-month-old Alexander Lipinski, who died as a result of spinal muscular atrophy. Alexander left behind his parents, brother, grandparents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins who are all determined to help raise money for a cure. Proceeds from this event will go to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy for further research that will hopefully result in a cure.
